Anyone intending going on the fly-past on 28th August?
You need at least 50 hours PIC, so I can't fly but would be interested in a right seat or back of a flexwing if anyone has a spare seat. |

Well - what can I say - what a resounding success!! Must admit - at 11.30am I was beginning to think we'd have a LOAD of food to get eaten between us - and then they started arriving!!
Guess there was at least 100 microlights flew in - and it seemed at least 75% elected to make a weekend of it, and camp overnight!! Great to see our airfield so busy - and hats of to all those who toiled long and hard to make the event such a success. Skinney Dippers? Never heard of them before - but what a great choice - thank to Guinness - well done that man!! Mike |

Please can anyone who has a story to tell or collected any statistics on aircraft landings, movements, burgers sold money collected etc, please share them with me in the coming days so that I can incorporate them into the Newsletter that I hope to publish next weekend.
