We have been invited to attend the following Devon & Somerset Microlight Club event.
Looks like a good way to spend a cold winters evening !!


Hi All,
 
For one night only, the Journeyman, Balladeer & Mike Hawkins will be leading the next D&SMC club evening at Dunks Air Centre Tuesday 19th January 7:30pm.
Open invite to all D&SM Club members, Devon Strut, Zoy boys and any other flyers you might like to bring along.
 
The Journeyman will be offering advice on how to make the best of the valuable days allowed for touring. He will describe some of his tours, ranging from a 2 day “Round London and Back” right up to a 10 day ‘Round Warsaw and Back’. The Balladeer will narrate a few stories (the humorous, the lyrical, and the plain stupid) drawn from 730 hrs and 218 landed fields since June 2000.  Both will use photographs to convey the wonders seen and the lessons learned.
 
Mike Hawkins will offer words of good sense and sound judgment, including details on how to recover broken aircraft from the continent!
 
The evening will act as both an escape from the wet and cold of winter, and an encouragement to venture further afield in 2010.
