Just like to say what a great time we all had at our 2009 Party - and a big, big thanks to Nikki for organising it.
Stewart was like a demented thing, with all those "young things" around - sure he must have woken up the next morning with a stiffy ( neck, that is ) - bet he thought he was in a Sweet Shop!! He did have his camera with him, so it will be nice to see some pics of the event. I did borrow it to take a couple of pics - but apparently he deleated them later - dunno why?!!
Steve was a bit lost waiting for his beloved to arrive from her works party - I think he was getting a bit concerned about her absence - but after a few more beers, seemed to forget why he was concerned!!
Nikki enjoyed chatting with her nearby tablemates - until all the food started disappearing - seems there was a hoover about!!
Not that I can talk, really - I think I managed to bag about 5 bread rolls - by hook, and mostly by crook!!
We all thought the management had done wonderfully to feed and entertain some 600 people so well, and I for one had NO complaints - it was a great evening, shared with friends - some a lot more "well oiled" than others!! Thankyou all.
